International Knockout Mouse Consortium

The KOMP database includes all genes from the Mouse Genome Informatics (MGI) database for which sequences and genome coordinates are available. This now includes all genes predicted by the NCBI, Ensembl, and Vega (Vertebrate Genome Annotation) pipelines for mouse Genome Build 37. All gene coordinates and all Vega IDs, Ensembl IDs, and Entrez Gene IDs have been updated accordingly. Further, the KOMP master and target gene list have been recompiled based on the information from Genome Build 37 and on the new mouse CCDS (Consensus Coding Sequence) set of genes provided by NCBI.
