- Portal "Part B" is a search interface onto a collection of Biomarts
- Users can make simple free-text queries
- The marts searched can be aggregated to suit the particular emphasis of the search site
- The BioMart resources are created as part of IDCC WP4 and WP5. This is a simple, collaborative way to integrate information on ES cell resources with other biological datasets

- The repository contains detailed information about mutant ES Cells and Targeting vectors made by the pipelines in the International Knockout Mouse Consortium (IKMC): we emphasise the molecular details for each mutation
- Data from the repository is served as a catalogue of mutant alleles, mutant sequence and images for the BioMart portal. The repository also serves a DAS-track into any DAS-compatible browser, and in particular into Ensembl
- A biomart can be queried directly for bulk data and all expert queries
- There is a website for data entry, which can be accessed by logging in -- contact us if you want a login!
- There are RESTful services for scripted data entry, along with examples in three languages
- IKMC participants can deposit information about targeted mutations using the user interface on the website or the web-services
(See "IKMC Targeted Products section")

Resources for developers
These projects have completely open code. More importantly, they have open data - the data services being queried by the code are all publicly visible. We dare you to download and install the code, and run your own portal!
