The members of the International Knockout Mouse Consortium (IKMC) are working together to mutate all protein-coding genes in the mouse using a combination of gene trapping and gene targeting in C57BL/6 mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells.

This IKMC BioMart Development Portal is a technical investigation into the use of BioMart 0.8 technology to drive IKMC data services. Its function is currently very limited, but we expect it to grow during the coming months. We welcome feedback from end-users regarding the function of this portal at htgt@sanger.ac.uk.
